PayZen Appoints Rohan Rajiv as SVP of Product to Advance Healthcare AI-Powered Affordability

AI product leader joins to scale payment innovation for millions of Americans

SAN FRANCISCO – March 10, 2025 – Today, PayZen, the leading AI-driven patient affordability platform, announced the appointment of Rohan Rajiv as Senior Vice President of Product. Rajiv joins at a pivotal moment as PayZen accelerates product innovation and deepens partnerships with health systems nationwide to make healthcare more affordable for patients and more sustainable for providers.

Rajiv has dedicated his career to tackling urgent challenges, issues that are vast in scale yet deeply personal in their impact. At LinkedIn, he led the Jobs Marketplace and Jobseeker Experience, supporting tens of millions of job seekers each week across a multi-billion-dollar marketplace. In that role, he also spearheaded a ground-up rebuild of core recommendation systems using large language models. As healthcare affordability emerges as one of the defining challenges of the decade, Rajiv was drawn to PayZen’s mission to help address this issue.

“When there’s a health problem, everything stops. And yet affording the care they need is top of mind for millions of Americans,” said Rohan Rajiv, SVP of Product at PayZen. “What drew me in was what the PayZen team has already built and the impact they’ve had on patients and care providers. I believe AI gives us a real opportunity to rethink how healthcare affordability works from the ground up, in ways that simply weren’t possible before.”

At PayZen, Rajiv will lead product strategy and execution for the company’s growing affordability platform. His work will focus on expanding payment and lending capabilities, strengthening enterprise integrations with health systems, and embedding AI across every stage of the patient financial journey.

“Having worked closely with Rohan in the past, I’ve seen firsthand how he approaches problems worth solving, with deep empathy for the people affected, a sharp instinct for where he can make the greatest impact, and a true love for building products and teams that deliver,” said Sanjeev Kapur, Chief Operating Officer of PayZen. “AI can fundamentally change what it means to afford care. The mission is big, and making real progress requires the conviction and capability to rebuild how things work from the ground up. Rohan has done exactly that at scale, and I’m excited for what we’ll build together.”

Rajiv’s addition marks the next phase of the company’s evolution as it accelerates its investment in advanced AI and product innovation. With healthcare costs climbing and providers facing sustained financial pressure, PayZen remains focused on building intelligent, patient-centered payment solutions that strengthen financial performance while improving the overall care experience.
